“DON’T PLAY WITH OATHS YOU MAKE TO GOD…IT MAY ATTRACT CURSES”…REV. OWUSU AMOAH

Rev. Abram Owusu Amoah.

Founder and leader of Gentiles Revival Ministry International in Accra, Apostle Abram Owusu Amoah says swearing of oaths during social and important national events, including marriage ceremonies, presidential inaugurations, court proceedings, among others impose curses upon individuals who undertake them, particularly if they don’t abide by them.  Speaking at the church’s recent Passover celebration, Apostle Abram Owusu Amoah explained that the Bible instructs believers not to swear unnecessarily using the name of the Lord. According to him, whenever people take an oath, they do so before the Most High God, and it becomes a curse when they fail to honour their oath. He said one cannot mock God by invoking his name to swear and reneging, asking society to put an end to the practice.
